The biggest cause of atheism is people who claim to follow Jesus but are in no way distinct from the world. Jesus said this kind of complacency in the church makes him sick, and it tells the world a lie about him. But he still stands at the door and knocks. Pastor J.D. continues today to point us toward full-hearted devotion to Christ so that our lives scream his worthiness. As we move away from lukewarm Christianity, we open the door to rich fellowship with Jesus.
