Yesterday at the 9:00am Chapel Hill Campus, we closed the doors and sent an estimated 200 people back to their cars. We hope many of them either came to Brier Creek or returned for the 11:00am service, which also ran out of room. We’re working on solutions now and that’s what is on our minds: “What are we going to do now?” God is going to lead us through figuring this out.
But for right now, I just want to tell each of you THANK YOU. Yesterday was made possible by an incredible amount of work and support, prayers and encouragement, leadership and service. Some of you put in hours and hours. I am full of gratitude this morning for the people of God here at the Summit. Thank you for everything. And what is really encouraging is that you’ll all keep doing the same things that God used yesterday and He will continue to use that for what He wants to do next.
